couture is no stranger to fantasy and alice in wonderland is certainly no stranger to being an inspiration. i can’t tell you how many collections were based on the whimsical tale at parsons (including one of my own, oy vey). with the marketing behind the film gearing up, a lot of people are jumping on the alice in wonderland bandwagon. and so am i, hardi harhar. so i give you the white queen, perfectly outfitted by the haute couture of spring 2010. i won’t try to explain her character because it makes my head hurt but believe you me, she would wear a lot of white. for more of the whiteness check out the white witch from the lion the witch and the wardrobe.
