“ARTAXXXX! Fight against the sadness, Artax!”

When I was a kid there was nothing, and I mean nothing, more exciting then turning on my TV and catching an episode of Batman: The Animated Series. In fact, if I were to turn on the tube now and an episode was on, I’d sit there and enjoy every second of it. However, there were a few episodes that did not stack up to the over all series. Episodes that once I saw the title card, I still watched and would roll my eyes throughout. Most of the time, this had alot to do with the choice of villain in the episode. Sometimes, the concept of the story was just too goofy. Regardless, above are my ten least favorite episodes of BTAS, which are still better than most cartoons on TV now-a-days (I sound like an old man)…
…is that Papyrus.
It is.
I’m a little distraught only because I adore Maurice Sendak like every other person and I’ll always remember wanting to be cast as Max my day school’s version of Where the Wild Things Are and being enraged when the owner’s son got the role instead (I’m not over it, can’t you tell?). And if you ever have a chance to check out the collection of all his work you should because it’s gigantic and has full color bleeds and I just want to bury my face in it.
My friend let me borrow Kiki’s Delivery Service (and The Sword in the Stone!) and she doesn’t realize that I’m never giving these back to her ever.
